Previous incidents

A deprecated JSON file format for limiting features via the Google Admin console for Read&Write for Google Chrome that was provided previously is currently causing issues with the Read&Write toolbar such as:

Toolbar not opening, features not working when clicked

Please update your JSON being pushed out if your users are experiencing these issues by following this updated guide in the meantime:

A hotfix resolving this incomp...

We have created a workaround to address the issue and have submitted it to the edge store. The workaround is currently being reviewed by Microsoft and should be available soon.

Users can uninstall and reinstall the Read&Write for Google Chrome extension, or if the extension is managed Admins should re-force install the Read&Write for Google Chrome extension to force the update to populate.

The latest version number is v2.1.355

A recent update to Google Docs has caused Google Docs to become slow or unresponsive when a Texthelp extension is enabled. Disabling the extension and refreshing the page will restore Google Docs to a working state. We have identified the issue and are working on a fix.
